The longest continually running community theatre in Texas — celebrating 55 years.
Our Story
In 1971, Joe Brooks gathered a cast and crew of just 20 at Navarro College's Arena Theatre and launched what would become a Corsicana institution. More than five decades later, the Warehouse Living Arts Center stands as the longest continually running community theatre in the state of Texas.
What began as a small community experiment has grown into a vibrant cultural anchor for Navarro County. The WLAC now produces 10 shows per season at the intimate Fator Studio (named after its most famous alumnus, Terry Fator) and stages larger productions at the historic Palace Theatre on Corsicana's brick-lined downtown streets.
The theatre's Walk of Fame, renovated digital marquee, and dedicated gallery space reflect a community that takes its arts seriously — and has the alumni to prove it. From America's Got Talent winners to Cirque du Soleil stage managers, the WLAC has been a launchpad for talent that reaches far beyond Navarro County.
